So you want to create a creative collage but the software you use isn’t powerful enough to make your wild imagination comes true. The application which I’m about to mention here is probably the most sophisticated free picture collage generator you’ve ever found so far. While most of other similar applications let you create picture collages only in several fixed shapes, this one allows you to create photo collages in any way you want. What makes Shape Collage so powerful is the ability to create custom collages. That means you can create picture collages in any shape you want. The simplest way to create one is to use the available presets. There are some collage presets bundled with the application, but you can download more presets from the developer’s homepage. Or, you can use pictures from your collection to be used as a collage shape (see screenshot below).
If you want to get the most freedom to create a custom collage, then you can draw a shape in Adobe Photoshop or similar applications, or you can draw it first on a paper then scan and save it as a PNG image. The image can then be imported to the program to be used as a collage shape.
